Infant/Toddler Project
The goals of the Infant/Toddler Project are:
- To increase quality of infant/toddler child care
- Increase the availability of infant/toddler child care in Kansas
Child Start has five infant/toddler specialists to serve as mentors to new and experiences child care providers on the importance of infant/toddler care. You may call or e-mail the specialists if you have any type of infant/toddler related question.
In addition to the infant/toddler specialists who provide technical assistance and consultation, Child Start provides:
- Over 10 infant/toddler specific in-service trainings a year.
- Partnerships with the community such as businesses, schools and others to increase awareness of the importance of brain development and the impact that high quality care for infants and toddlers has on the developing child.
