  • Child Start’s Child Care Outreach program has expanded into new counties as part of a major redesign by KACCRRA with the intention to better serve both child care providers and parents. 

  • Child Start was selected as one of three Call Centers and now takes parent child care referral calls from the entire 316 and 620 area codes.  Child Start was also selected as one of seven District Offices and serves providers in: Butler, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Marion, McPherson, Reno, Rice, Sedgwick, and Sumner counties.
